SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY 

DomeShelter Australia’s eCommerce website includes 4 possible options for the delivery or pickup of orders placed online. These options will be shown during purchase of products. Depending on delivery postcode input, one or more options may not appear. 

  1. STORE PICKUP: All DomeShelter™ Products are available for free pickup from our manufacturing facilities in Northam, Western Australia, and Melbourne, Victoria. Please ensure you select the correct location when checking out. 
  1. FREE DELIVERY: DomeShelter Australia offers free delivery to locations within 100kms of our warehouses in Northam and Melbourne.  
  1. FLAT DELIVERY FEE: Delivery to areas outside of Perth and Melbourne is based on fixed rates, calculated by postcode. These rates include costs of carriage and insurance. 
  1. CALL TO DISCUSS: In situations where the available options are unsuitable for the buyer, delivery may be arranged on a case-by-case basis. Please call our team on 1300 193 188 during business hours to discuss your options.

  1. Delivery Timeframe for Goods and Services: 
  2. DomeShelter Australia is committed to prompt and efficient delivery services. The estimated delivery timeframes are as follows: 
  3. Deliveries to locations within 100 km of our warehouses in Northam and Melbourne are estimated to be completed within 3-5 business days. 
  4. For areas outside Perth and Melbourne, delivery times are estimated at 5-10 business days, depending on the delivery postcode. 
  5. Customers will be promptly notified in the event of unforeseen delays or special circumstances, and alternative arrangements will be discussed. 
  6. Please note that these timeframes are estimates and may vary based on order size and specific delivery locations. 

DomeShelter Australia uses third party Delivery Agents to deliver goods to clients. By placing an order, you consent to your details, including name, delivery address, phone number and email address, being supplied to the Delivery Agent for the purpose of delivering your goods. Please note that our products are not deliverable to a P.O. Box. A forklift will be required for unloading Shelter Kits of all sizes. 

All costs of carriage and insurance shall be paid by the client, and is included in the flat delivery fee. DomeShelter Australia take no responsibility for damages caused to goods once they have been passed onto third party Delivery Agents. We will assist clients in tracking goods where possible, but final responsibility lies with the Delivery Agents.  

If Store Pickup is selected and the client does not make arrangements for the collection of goods within 15 days, DomeShelter Australia may at their discretion and without prejudice to any other rights: 

  1. Store or arrange for the storage of the goods, with the client liable for all associated costs and expenses including but not limited to transportation, storage, and insurance; and/or 
  1. Charge a cancellation and/or restocking fee. 

INSPECTION & ACCEPTANCE OF GOODS  

It is Buyer’s responsibility when accepting this contract or ordering to ensure the Goods ordered conform to Buyer’s requirements and are suitable and sufficient for Buyer’s purpose. 

Buyer must inspect the Goods on delivery or collection. 

Buyer identifies any damages or shortages, you must inform us in writing within 7 days of delivery, providing details. 

Other than by agreement, Seller will only accept returned Goods if Seller is satisfied that those Goods are defective and if required, have carried out an inspection. 

Subject to Buyer’s compliance with this clause and/or Seller’s agreement, Buyer may return the Goods and Seller will, as appropriate, repair, or replace, or refund the Goods or part of them. 

Seller will be under no liability or further obligation in relation to the Goods if: 

  • Buyer fails to provide notice as set above; and/or 
  • Buyer makes any further use of such Goods after giving notice under the clause above relating to damages and shortages; and/or 
  • the defect arises because Buyer did not follow Seller’s oral or written instructions about the storage, commissioning, installation, use and maintenance of the Goods; and/or 
  • the defect arises from normal wear and tear of the Goods; and/or 
  • Goods, negligence, willful damage or any other act by Buyer, Buyer’s employees or agents or any third parties. 

Buyer bears the risk and cost of returning the Goods. 

Acceptance of the Goods will be deemed to be upon inspection of them by Buyer and in any event within 1 day after delivery.
